JASON SCHWEIGERT, M.SC. P.GEOPH
Acquisition Geophysicist & President
Jason obtained his B.Sc. in Geophysics from the University of Calgary in 1999, and completed an M.Sc. in Geophysics in 2009. Jason has been working as an Acquisition Geophysicist since 2000 when he joined Veritas DGC. In 2005, Jason became a partner in BJV. During his career he has designed and modeled over 3000 seismic programs worldwide, and is passionate about helping clients acquire seismic data that is optimized for their business objectives.
KARI SCHWEIGERT, B.SC.
Acquisition Geophysicist & Chief Operating Officer
Kari obtained her B.Sc. in Geophysics from the University of Calgary in 1999. Upon graduation, Kari began working as an Acquisition Geophysicist for Veritas DGC. In 2005, Kari became a partner at BJV. Kari is responsible for graphic design for technical and marketing presentations, human resources, business development and strategic planning.
MATTHEW ALLEN, M.SC. P.GEO
Acquisition Geophysicist
Matthew obtained a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Lethbridge in 2006, and in 2009 he graduated from the University of Calgary with a M.Sc. in Geophysics. Matthew joined BJV as an Acquisition Geophysicist in 2011, and is a key member of the team. Matt has been involved in over 1000 seismic design and modeling projects worldwide, and is passionate about helping our clients acquire seismic data that is technically sound but also meets their budgetary constraints
LAURA KENT
Administrative Manager
Laura began working for BJV in November 2005 as an Administrative Manager. Laura is responsible for office management, payroll, and book keeping.
JOHN VOSKUYL
Company Founder
John founded BJV in 1987, and after 40 years in the oil and gas industry, he retired in 2006. His wealth of knowledge and experience is still drawn upon as a special advisor to the company.
